Aims and Objectives

  • To foster a bond between past students and their Alma Mater. The Association helps past students to keep in touch with the School and with each other.
  • Members of the Association act as role models for present students.
  • Experts, professionals and dignitaries from among the alumni can provide assistance to the School through guest lectures, resource personnel and seminars. In this way they can help staff and students keep abreast of the latest developments in education, technology and job opportunities.
  • The Association helps channelise voluntary contributions from alumni members towards causes supported by it.
  • The Association provides access to its worldwide branches, which offers a great opportunity to locate and re-connect with one's batchmates.
  • The Association provides updates about the new initiatives of the School, its academic and sports achievements, and other developments.
  • It is a platform to interact with retired and senior teachers.
  • Members of the Association offer career advice and job opportunities to the younger alumni.
  • The Association participates in local environmental, public awareness and anti-corruption issues.
  • The Association organizes annual get-togethers and meets on the third weekend of December every year. It provides non-Doon based alumni with support relating to logistics in order to to encourage maximum participation in the annual meets.
