Vikas Dewan, ( President) is an accomplished IT professional and proud alumnus of St. Joseph’s Academy, Class of 1984. A postgraduate from Delhi University, he further enhanced his expertise with certifications from INSEAD Singapore, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Ahmedabad. As CEO of Strategic Marketing, Uttarakhand’s leading system integration company—he has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic vision, and business acumen. An active member of the Alumni Association since its inception in 2010, he has served as President ( 2012 – 14 ) Treasurer ( 2010 – 2011 ) , and now aims to elevate SJAAA into a globally recognized entity with the support of dynamic leaders.

Sanam Kumar,( Vice President ) a distinguished alumnus, brings extensive experience across global consulting, logistics, infrastructure, and academia. He has worked with Dialectica (London) and AlphaSights (Hong Kong), and holds advanced qualifications including a Master’s from the University of Aberdeen (UK), IFRS certification from ICAEW-London, an MBA in International Business & Finance, CA (Final-II), and a management certification from IIM Ahmedabad. His career spans senior leadership roles at Delhivery, Reliance Industries, Bharti Infratel, Dishnet Wireless, and HCL Infosystems, alongside visiting faculty positions at SP Jain (Singapore), UPES Dehradun, and ICFAI. He currently serves as Senior Director at Freshcore Provisions India (Green Leaf BV, Netherlands).

Dilpreet Siingh, ( Vice President – Outstation) based in Delhi, is an ISC 2002 alumnus of St. Joseph’s Academy. He holds a B.Com (Hons) and a Master’s in Business Economics from Delhi University. With over 11 years of experience in finance at American Express, HSBC, and LeasePlan, he later ventured into entrepreneurship, successfully managing businesses in digital printing, hospitality, and real estate (30yards.in). An active alumnus for more than a decade, he has led the Delhi Chapter and fostered strong Josephite community ties. He now serves as Vice President (O) on the main committee, working to strengthen alumni connections globally.

Harshit Gupta, ( Secretary ) a proud Josephite from the Batch of 2008, is a practicing Chartered Accountant with entrepreneurial ventures spanning pharmaceuticals, angel investment, and consultancy. He has previously served the SJA Alumni Association in multiple capacities and now aspires to re-engage actively, fostering meaningful connections among Josephite batchmates, seniors, and juniors—transcending geographical boundaries to strengthen the alumni network.

Pulkit Gupta,( Treasurer) a proud Josephite from the Batch of 2013, began his career as a lawyer before transitioning into entrepreneurship. He now leads diverse ventures spanning plumbing and sanitary ware distribution, uPVC and aluminium doors and windows, along with Zaraya, a jewellery brand specializing in silver and artificial jewellery. Previously associated with the SJA Alumni Association, he is delighted to reconnect with the Josephite community, aiming to strengthen alumni engagement, foster meaningful connections, and contribute positively to the institution that shaped his values and professional journey.

Surinder Batra, ( MC Member – Senior), a proud Josephite until 1984, began his career in the family’s timber business before venturing into the automobile sector in 2001. He now leads ESS ELL Honda and ESS ELL Superbikes, renowned two-wheeler dealerships of Honda, operating with 4 sales outlets and 11 service centers across Dehradun. His dealerships have earned prestigious recognition, including Honda’s Best Dealer Pan-India Award and the FADA Best Dealer Award across all two-wheeler brands nationwide. As one of the founding members of the SJA Alumni Association, he has previously served two consecutive terms as Vice President and remains committed to contributing his best to the Alumni in the upcoming term.

Jamanbir Singh Sawhney, ( MC Member – Senior) is a proud Josephite from the Batch of 2004, is a third-generation entrepreneur, passionate orator, and lifelong learner. As an HVAC professional with M/s Irani Traders, he specializes in delivering innovative comfort air-conditioning solutions to customers. Deeply committed to his alma mater, he looks forward to contributing actively to the SJA Alumni Association, strengthening bonds and fostering growth within the Josephite community.

Avinav Goyal ( MC Member – Senior), a proud Josephite from the Batch of 2009, is an entrepreneur and partner at ACE Enterprises with ventures in HVAC, bath and sanitary solutions, elevators, escalators, DG sets, and allied infrastructure services. His work spans residential, commercial, and institutional projects across regions. As a Member of the Management Committee, he is committed to strengthening alumni engagement, fostering collaboration across batches, and building meaningful connections beyond geographical boundaries.

Prateek Handa, ( MC Member – Senior ) a proud Josephite from the Batch of 2009, is an Advocate practicing before the Hon’ble High Court of Uttarakhand and various courts in Dehradun for over 11 years. Honoured to serve as a member of the Managing Committee, he acknowledges the pivotal role St. Joseph’s Academy has played in shaping his values, discipline, and professional outlook. For him, contributing to this esteemed alumni body is both a privilege and a responsibility, and he remains committed to serving with sincerity, guided by the support of respected seniors and cherished peers.

Pallavi Patel, ( MC Member – Junior) a proud Josephite from the Batch of 2015, is an architect committed to sustainable and eco-friendly innovation. She leads a practice centered on conscious design, including the development of Monal Paints—a natural, environmentally responsible alternative to conventional paints, manufactured from cow dung. With sustainability at the heart of her work, she is enthusiastic about joining the Alumni Management Committee, grateful for the opportunity to serve, and dedicated to making the association more accessible and beneficial for the entire Josephite community.

Vinayak Agarwal ( MC Member – Junior ) , a proud Josephite from the Batch of 2015, is an entrepreneur and education strategist. He recently launched Checkmate, a brand offering luxurious, sustainable stays in Uttarakhand, while also overseeing marketing, technology, and strategy at Universal Academy Dehradun, a K–12 CBSE school. A graduate of Ashoka University with a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science and a P.G. Diploma in Advanced Studies and Research, he brings both innovation and academic rigor to his ventures. Returning to his alma mater after a decade, Vinayak serves as a Junior Committee Member of the Alumni Association, committed to inspiring younger Josephites to engage meaningfully with the school and its community.

Rachit Khajuria,( MC Member – Junior ) a proud Josephite from the Batch of 2016, is a hospitality professional with over five years of experience. A graduate of the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai, he began his career with ITC Hotels and is currently associated with Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort & Spa under the Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Grateful to serve as part of the Management committee in the Alumni association , he credits the values and discipline instilled at St. Joseph’s Academy for shaping his journey. He remains committed to giving back and strengthening the alumni community.
